COVID-19 UPDATE

ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKFORCE SUPPORT DURING COVID- 19

Dear Valued Customer/Vendor,

First, our sincere thank you to the tireless healthcare workers, law enforcement and many others who are on the front line working to contain this COVID -19 virus as well as those that are keeping our Nation supplied with the essential needs. Your efforts are so appreciated.

As the situation around Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing at Milestone Fence and Superior Access & Door to ensure the well-being of our office staff, construction crews, vendors and customers. We know this is an unsettling time for everyone and our hearts go out to anyone who may be affected by COVID-19. As always, the health and well-being of our customers and team members is our highest priority.

As a trusted and ongoing partner with Local and State Government facilities, we are under direct contract to provide emergency and essential services. This includes but is not limited to; Communications, Law Enforcement, First Responders, Military, Armory, Public Service and Transportation facilities. This means we are classified as a direct support for the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce and are required to remain operational during this National Emergency.

We are closely monitoring the latest reports from the CDC, the WHO and the Department of Defense and we are taking several precautionary measures for the health and safety of our customers and team members.

We've instituted a pandemic plan across our organization that includes health and safety protocols so we can continue to serve you. We’ve advised all employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel. We’ve also reinforced our own existing policy encouraging employees who, if they or someone they live with, exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional.

We’ve also informed our team members that if they are at a residence or on a commercial site with someone who is exhibiting flu-like symptoms they are to leave the job site immediately and notify the office.

During this time of growing concern and uncertainty, the importance of fence, gates, automation and access systems is a growing necessity for the security of our nations buildings, homes and facilities. Our services will be required to support the shutdown of plants, facilities, venues and construction sites. Continued services for repairs of electrical gate openers, access control systems and all related components will also be critical. It is for these reasons that we plan to remain 100% operational until we are notified that we cannot.

If that happens, we will still be providing Emergency and Essential services to the Critical Infrastructure Workforce. Office personnel will be working remotely. You can contact myself or Mindy if you need fencing or access control services.

We understand a sense of panic in affected areas is nearly as debilitating as the heath effects themselves. As a contractor we are used to risk, from labor shortages, escalating tariffs as well as changing raw material prices. The entire industry entered 2020 facing many unknowns. The fall out from the COVID-19 virus is one more factor. We are certain that each day will bring more information and the more information we have the better we can predict how to handle new concerns and when we will be back to somewhat normal business practices.

We pray that all our friends, relatives, customers and business partners stay safe and well.

Thank you and God Bless,
Chris Loftus
